WELCOME TO THE FACULTY OF SECURITY & FORENSIC INVESTIGATIONS

The private security sector predates modern policing and, prior to the formation of what we now see as public sector law enforcement, private security personnel carried out critical duties for a government. These functions included protecting the president, hunting down fugitives and spies, and conducting investigations ranging from counterfeit to industrial espionage. Today, the private security sector is present in almost every business and industry, including retail, healthcare, corporate, government contracting, cultural property, cyber, and more The basic sense, content and aim of this faculty is based on the knowledge of security theories, security studies and approaches offered to students. Its emphasis lies on the analysis of the modern-day world of security, on the theoretical and methodological starting points of the research and the study of a new security theory, on security policy. Business and various organisations now need specially trained professionals to help their organisations in preventing loss, reduce risk, eliminate exposures and withstand disasters and Cipfm provided the skills and knowledge to that through this faculty. Since Risk cannot be eliminated but can be managed, student will be equipped with risk assessments and management skills.

Graduates from our Security & Forensic Investigations programs can pursue careers in various fields such as crime laboratories, law enforcement agencies, and risk management. Other roles include security management, loss control, and consultancy in anti-fraud and risk control.
